Sorry about that extra long break. I'm sure you thought I had been kidnapped or something but in reality I just hadn't paid for my blog and they wouldn't let me post. The. Nerve.
Then I had to really think about continuing and if I wanted to just stop blurting stuff out on the internet. Some anonymous internet guy referred to blogs (and in particular mommy blogs) as pablum. That gave me something to think about. Although I don't think this really qualifies as a "mommy blog" I don't see why they should be put down like that. If you want to write about stuff in your life and that stuff includes being a mommy then why should you be put down? Click away anonymous internet guy. It's a big wide web and I'm sure there's more than enough stuff out there to interest your obviously superior intellect. Don't want to hear about diapers - don't read mommy blogs but don't be an asshat and rag on other people's interests.
Okay so apparently I've thought about it and decided that while I don't read mommy blogs or qualify as a mommy blog I don't really see anything wrong with them. I mean, I've been on email lists with people who are major over-sharers and I've learned not to open their emails...so anonymous internet guy can set up his blog searches to skip anything with the words "doodle, spit-up and diapers" also "nose bulb, mastitis and rectal thermometer" and "stressed, bored and drained" just to be safe.
In closing, I'm not giving up blogging. Too bad, sucky anonymous internet guy.
